Black & White Specialties, or to us BWS, is a custom photographic lab open to the public. We specialize in the processing and printing of black and white images. Aside from our excellent black and white work, we also take pride in our digital restoration, studio portraiture, commercial photography and fine art printing.

How long have you been in business?
I have been here 13 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Photographic Services: Portraiture, Black and White Processing and printing, Digital repair of old images in both b/w and color, fine art printing and reproduction.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a small hands on business with personal attention to the customers needs. We produce the most archieval black and white prints in the region. We also work on color images with exceptional results.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just the one.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are in Lenexa in a small strip center on Pflumm Rd just north of 103rd St on the west side of the road. For those familiar with the area, we are next to the Pizza Man and just north of the Stonewall Inn Restaurant.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept all types
Which areas do you service?
We have customers all across the Metro and the region. As well as walk in, we recieve work by mail messenger, e-mail and internet upload throught our web site.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Ric Cummings is the sole owner and manager.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open 8:00 to 6:00 Monday through Thursday.
